Australian Apprenticeships are covered by formal contracts known as Training Contracts. These contracts are between the Employer, the Australian Apprentice and the legal guardian if the Australian Apprentice is under the age of 18 years. They set out the training and supervision an Employer must provide for the Employee, as well as the Employee/s obligations as an Australian Apprentice.
